About

Mr. Hari Prasad Uppara obtained his PhD degree from Manipal Institute of Technology, MAHE, Manipal in 2022, M. Tech from IIT Guwahati in 2011 and B. Tech from Sri Venkateshwara University, Tirupati in 2009. After his master’s degree, he worked as Assistant Professor in KL University and GVP College of Engineering (A), Visakhapatnam. Now, he has been working as Assistant professor at BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore since Jan 2022.
His areas of interest are heterogenous catalysis, chemical reaction engineering, materials chemistry and mathematical modelling. He has tremendous knowledge on synthesis and tuning the surface chemistry of the nano materials. Besides, he is skilled in various analytical instruments such as XRD, FESEM/EDS, TEM, BET Surface area analyzer, XPS, TGA, FTIR, UV-vis-DRS, Raman Spectrometry, Gas Chromatography and H2-TPR/O2-TPD.
