Event: Women’s Day event at CISCO
22.03.2024 Female students were invited to the Cisco campus in connection with the Women’s day event for empowering women to thrive in coding fields on 22nd March 2024. A coding contest, a panel discussion with the senior leaders and a campus tour were arranged. Our students – Jyothika (VI Sem students from CSE) won the second prize in the coding contest and Varsha (VIII Sem students from ISE) won the third prize in the coding contest.

29-04-2022:Department of Traning & Placement organized a Sahayoga-2022 at Radisson Blue, Talk on “Institute Industry Connect. “ The Program was inaugurated by Dr S. Muralidhara. Principal with his welcome note. Dr S Pradeepa, Dean, Training and Placement, Dr J Sharana Basavaraja Deputy Dean, Training and Placement, addressed the program. All state holders that includes management, Deans, HODs of BMSCE and Industry people were present for the event ideas and suggestion were exchanged during the event.
17-23-2019: A meeting was organized by Placement department at BMS College of Engineering. A team from GE health care had come forward to interact with all IT and Circuit branches, Head’s of the department and Associate Professors. This was to bring forward further student engagement activities and plan of action for next academic year was discussed.
23-11-2019: Placement Officer acknowledged and addressed the placement student coordinators 2020 regarding half yearly statistics also empowered to enhance employability for the students yet to get placed.
08-11-2019 and 16-11-2019: The Department of Training and Placement organized a two days workshop in collaboration on the 8th and 16th of November, 2019 at BMSCE campus. The course focused on Operating system internals and was handled by experts form HPE Mr.Ravindra Kini, Mr.Aravinda and Mr.Subramani Reddy. About 30 students attended the course. The top 5 students were identified and awarded
05-11-2019: Pre Placement talk for 2021 PG Students was held at Auditorium where the Placement Officer and Cisco Personal an Alumni BMSCE also explained bridge between Industry and campus to be well prepared for the placement activities.

17-09-2019: Repeated interactions to motivate was made PG Students in order to empower their placements where the Placement Officer is addressing.
24-08-2019: Repeated interactions to motivate was made UG Students in order to empower their placements where the Principal and Placement Officer are addressing.
June 2019: Inauguration puja for 2020 Placements. Every year the placement begin in the month of June by having blessings of god. All state holders that includes management, Deans, HODs, Placement Faculty/Student coordinators are participated in this puja.
01-06-2019: Department of Training and Placement organized a Placement Bootcamp for 2020 Batch. The Program was inaugurated by Dr S Pradeepa, Placement Officer with her welcome note, Sr.Students (2019 batch) delivered their speech. Nearly 1000 students attended the program. Vote of Thanks given by Dr J Sharana Basavaraja, Assistant Placement officer.
10-06-2019: Placement training schedule from 10 th June to 2 nd July 2019 for 2020 Batch in batch wise.
18-05-2019: Department of Placement and Training organized a meeting to discuss on “Rules and Regulations of Placement process for 2020”, delivered by Dr S Pradeepa, Placement Officer and Dr J Sharana Basavaraja, Assistant Placement officer, to HOD’s of various departments, faculty placement coordinators and students coordinators 2020.
01-04-2019: The department of Placement and Training is organized named as an Orientation for placement activity “Pre-Placement talk” with Pre final year students at Indore stadium. The Program was inaugurated by Dr B V Ravishankar, Principal with his welcome note. Dr S Pradeepa, Placement Officer and Dr J Sharana Basavaraja, Assistant Placement officer addressed 1500 students about Placement training schedule, rules and regulations and fee structure.
24-04-2019: Pre Employability skill test was conducted Schedule from 24 April to 26 April 2019.The test was managed with the support of various lab facility.
