About

I am Soumen Panda, working as assistant professor in Department of Chemical Engineering in B. M. S. College of Engineering. I have my Master degree from IIT Madras in Chemical Engineering and Bachelor degree from WBUT in Chemical Engineering. My research areas include Microbial Fuel Cell Technology, Adsorption of heavy metal and dye from waste water. I have total 5 years of experience in teaching. I am a recipient of Research Grant for Scientist/ Faculty (RGS/F) from Vision Group of Science and Technology (VGST), Department of Information Technology, Biotechnology and Science and Technology, Govt. of Karnataka, 2018. I have 8 international journal publications. I like to drive my research towards developing new technology and methods to tackle environment pollution and producing alternate energy.
