About

Dr. Sainath K is a rank holder in Chemical Engineering in the year 2010 from VTU, and he has qualified Chemical Engineering Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) examination. He joined B.M.S. College of Engineering in the year 2010, as Assistant Professor. He has PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) and M. Tech. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG). He has expertise in the field of membrane technology for gas separation, wastewater purification, and general Chemical Engineering. In addition, he also worked in the synthesis of graphene oxide and zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIF-8 and ZIF-67), and in the area of stabilization of silicone oil-in-water emulsion. Prior to under graduation studies at BMSCE, he obtained a diploma degree in Chemical Engineering in 2004 from Sri Jayachamarajendra Polytechnic, Bengaluru. Later, he served as a Brewer at Ms Skol Breweries Ltd., near Hyderabad from February 2005 to August 2007. He is passionate to teach young minds and help them achieve their dreams in the field of Chemical Engineering and allied areas.
