About

Dr. Shivakumar R, has obtained his undergraduate degree, from B.M.S College of Engineering, Bengaluru. Masters degree from Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumkuru and Doctoral degree from V.T.U. His research work was carried out in B.M.S. College of Engineering as a research center under V.T.U in the area of alternate fuels and blended coal kinetics. Presently, he is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering. He is specialized in the area of Coal kinetics, Alternate fuels, Computational Fluid Dynamics, surfactants, and Process modelling. His interest of research encompasses areas like Microfludics, Energy Efficient Materials, Non-ionic Surfactants, Clean Coal Technology, Battery technology. He has published research papers in international and national Scopus and web of science indexed journals. He has conducted software training programs on UNISIM process simulation in B.M.S College of Engineering and other institutes. His overall citations since 2013 are increased to 59 with h-index 4 and i10-index 2.
