About
 Graduated   in   Chemical   Engineering   from  Bangalore   University,
Post-graduate in Industrial Pollution Control Engg. from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (formerly KREC Suratkal) Mangalore University and Ph.D. Research on “Process Optimization & Ethanol production from Hemicellulose” Bio-energy and Environment from  VTU,  Belgavi.  Worked in  Industry and  Environmental Engineering Consultancy firm about  4 years before joining Teaching at BMSCE.  After joining BMSCE as teaching faculty I have taught about 20 different courses for under-graduate chemical engineering,   Postgraduate Environmental  Engineering, and  Bio-Chemical  Engineering.  I  have guided about 40 UG and PG dissertation work. Participated and Organised about 35 short term courses and conferences.  Published  15  research papers in  National and International journals. Carried out about 25-30 lakh worth Environmental Engineering  Consultancy assignment since the year 2016 and ongoing.   Affiliated to professional bodies of about  7 organizations.  Area of  Specialisation and  Interest:  Energy and Environment with the design and development of sustainable industrial plants. Possess sound knowledge of modeling  &  simulation of air pollution dispersion model, Design & optimization of Air Pollution and Industrial/Domestic Effluent treatment Control Equipment’s/units., AWARD/ACHIEVEMENT. STATE ENVIRONMENTAL AWARD 2017-from Department of Forest,  Ecology  and  Environment  Govt.  of  Karnataka with citation and cash money of  Rs.  1,00,000/-  (One  Lakh  only)  -  Individual category.,  Education: Doctoral    Research:“Process     Optimization&     Ethanol     production from hemicellulose”- BioEnergy and Environment., Masters: Pollution Control and Engineering - “Validation of CFD-based Air Quality Model and its sensitivity analysis Bachelors: Chemical Engineering - “Study of Heat loads During fermentation in a Brewery & Design of a Fermenter Vessel
