About
Currently Serving as Professor of Mechanical Engineering. Formerly Professor and Head of Aerospace Engineering. Have done Bachelors and Master’s degree in B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bengaluru. Later pursued doctoral research at IIT –Madras in the Dept. of Aerospace Engineering. Worked under Dr. HSN Murthy in the area of Aerospace Structures. Doctoral research was in the area of Aerospace Structures involving Contact Mechanics, Fretting Fatigue and Design. Serving in B.M.S. College of Engineering for the past 28 years. Have taught number of subjects in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering: Machine Design, Finite Element Analysis, Composite Materials, Computer Graphics, Engineering Drawing, Machine Drawing, Continuum Mechanics, Aerospace Materials,Machine Drawing and Drafting, Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics and many others. Have guided more than 50 undergraduate project batches and more than 25 masters projects. Three scholars have successfully completed their Ph.D and supervising 5 Doctoral research scholars under Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. Published 30 international journals and 12 international conferences papers. Member of BOS, BOE in the Department of Aerospace Engineering in B.M.S. College of Engineering and also in other colleges. Is a reviewer for some of the Journal houses like ASME and others.
