About

I am specialized in thermal science and my areas of research are Fluid Dynamics and Experimental Techniques, Heat Transfer Analysis, Shock Tunnel, and Wind Tunnel Experimental Studies, and High-Speed Flow Studies. I am handling the regular thermal stream related subjects like Heat Transfer, Turbomachines, Basic and Applied Thermodynamics, Steam and Gas Turbines, and the elective subjects like Gas Dynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Advanced Thermodynamics, Incompressible Fluid Mechanics, Experimental techniques in Incompressible, etc. I have done my research in the field of Hypersonic flow and re-entry heat transfer analysis at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). I have delivered the departmental responsibilities like member of BOS, BOE, MEA coordinator, ASHRAE student chair, etc. Currently, I am carrying out the responsibilities of the Dept. R & D coordinator, Dept. core faculty member- BMS Upagraha project, Wind tunnel lab in-charge, and project coordinator. Currently, I am involved in the design and erection of a supersonic tunnel for the institution and guiding the student’s projects on, the flow analysis of Airfoils with Tubercles, Shock tube modification, Vaneless drones, Flute acoustics, and Automobiles drag reduction analysis. I am a life member of the Society of shock wave research (SSWR) at IISc, Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), and ASHRAE.
