The workshop started basic design considerations of Inrunner and Outrunner Surface-Mounted PMSM. Voltu Vaibhava - 2024The EEE Association hosted the first-ever Cultural Day, 'Voltu Vaibhava,' on 27th November 2024, making history as the first event of its kind in BMSCE. The celebration began with a lamp-lighting ceremony graced by our esteemed guests – Vice Principal Academic, Dr. L. Ravikumar, and Dean Student Affairs, Dr. Rajeswari Hegde – along with the entire EEE faculty. This was followed by an array of vibrant performances by both faculty and students, showcasing their talents in singing, dancing, instrumental music, and skits. The program concluded with a spirited combined dance performance, after which refreshments were provided, bringing the event to a delightful close. Sammilana- 21st December - 2024Sammilana 2024, the annual alumni meet organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in association with the EEE Association and BMSCE Alumni Network, was a heartwarming and memorable event. Held in the presence of distinguished alumni, including the revered 1964 batch, and esteemed faculty such as Prof. N. N. S. Sir, the event celebrated the department's rich legacy. The evening began with a welcome note by Dr. R. S. Geetha, HOD of the department, followed by alumni sharing heartfelt stories of their time at BMSCE. Prof. N. N. S. Sir graced the audience with his words and a soulful song. The department acknowledged the contributions of the 2013 batch with gratitude and presented the Prof. Vijay Vittal Awards to deserving winners. Online Future Skill Training on Robotics and Automation - 2020In order to enhance employability and improve placement of students, students need to be imparted requisite hands-on- training on emerging technological areas which have huge employment potential for engineering graduates in coming 2-3 years. Adhering to the guidelines of MHRD and NPIU it is initiated to conduct online training on upcoming technologies to impart job-oriented training to the students to make them industry ready for complying to the future skill requirements of IT-ITes industries. In this regard we are proposing a 90 hours training program on “Robotics and Automation”. The training involves online theory and practical sessions. (Students may be allowed for necessary lab work / hands-on practice after lockdown in batches of appropriate size while following strict safety protocols and practicing social distancing) The students shall undergo formative progress review test midway during the training program and Post training assessment and certification after the training.
