Research Interests: Solid State Physics, Polymer Science, Conducting Polymers, Quantum Dots, Carbon Nanomaterials, Polymer Nanocomposites, Energy Storage Devices, Symmetric, Asymmetric, Flexible Supercapacitors, Liquid Crystal Electrolytes.

About

Dr. Vandana M working as an Assistant Professor (Physics) at BMS College of Engineering in Bangalore. She obtained her PhD in Energy storage materials from Mangalore University Mangalagangothri (2021), and Dr. Vandana M completed post-doctoral research at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Bangalore (2022-2023) and Kasetsart University Bangkok Thailand (2023-2024). Her research focus is quantum dots doped conducting polymer nanocomposites for energy storage applications. She received the "Young Scientist Award" from Chirantan Rasayan Sanstha in 2024 for her contribution to the field of research.
