About

Dr H S Guruprasad holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering and working at BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore from the past 23 years. He has headed the Information Science and Engineering department for 10 years and the Computer Science and Engineering department for 3 years and is currently working as Professor in ISE. He has conducted around 120 Outcomes Based Education (OBE) Workshops across the Country spreading the Effective Implementation and Best Practices of OBE. He has also conducted workshops on "Student Mentoring", "Stress and Time Management for Research Scholars", "Academic Leadership and Team Spirit".
His research interests are Computer Communications, Algorithms, Cloud Computing and Internet of Things. He has published 86 Research Papers and guided 2 PhD Scholars, guiding 5 PhD Scholars. He was was awarded the Rashtriya Gaurav Award in 2012.
