About
Dr S Pradeepa received her Ph.D degree in Nov(2014) on Power Quality Improvement in Electrical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. She holds M.E degree in the area of Power Electronics from Bangalore University and B.E degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Annamalai University. Her service in B.M.S.C.E is since 1993.
Dr Pradeepa has more than 32 Years of teaching experience at BMSCE, a reputed Engineering College in Bangalore including 1 year of experience in another institute. Also she has one year of work experience at Mettur Thermal Power Station, Mettur, Tamil Nadu.
She has more than 40 Publications including International Conference Presentations and Journals. Her research includes Active Power Filters and Power Converters. She Served as Dean Placement since Dec'16 to June'22. In addition also served as Institute Internship Coordinator and Guiding Research Scholars. Have taken additional commitment in consultation works as a "Safety Consultant" under LARSEN & TOUBRO and shall be responsible for the review and vetting of all design documents & Good for Construction drawings as per Tumakuru Industrial township Project.

Have taken additional commitment as "Safety Consultant" under LARSEN & TOUBRO and shall be responsible for the review and vetting of all design documents & Good for Construction drawings as per Tumakuru Industrial township Project, on Electrical Power Design of value equal to Rs. 18,00,000.00. This includes development of 20kV/66kV/11 kV substation (MRSS) within the Phase A activation area . 220 kV GIS infrastructure will be at a later stage and only space planning without any quipment’s in the current phase. 66/11 KV will be constructed in the initial phase. This includes Power Demand Estimation Report and Power demand estimates.

• Actively involved in Third Party Inspections at various locations in Karnataka State and approved a standard report on electrical parameters.
• Involved in complete re-wiring of lighting load at Government School, N. R. Colony, Bangalore.
• Organized one week workshop for Faculty on “Indian Knowledge Systems” during August 2025.
