About
My educational background includes both my master's and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering Department from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. After completion of my Ph.D., I have continued to work as a postdoctoral researcher in Aerospace Computational Modelling Laboratory at Gyeongsang National University, South Korea, and later at the Materials Engineering Department Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. During this research journey, I have worked on various inter-disciplinary works, which focuses on a wide variety of problems such as gas-surface interactions, nanoscale channel flow, sputtering, sintering, nanoscale pumping, nano-filtration, nanofluids, aircraft icing, anti-icing, blast furnace. To investigate the above-mentioned research topics, I have developed excellence in non-conventional computational methods such as molecular dynamics methods, direct simulation Monte Carlo, discrete element method, and also the traditional computational fluid dynamics methods, along with developing hybrid models that combine one or more computational tools to handle complex problems.
