About

I started my teaching career in the year 2005 and was successful in developing myself as a diligent and focused academician. I have worked in three other reputed institutions prior to joining BMS College of Engineering in 2020. I have always been eager to update myself and have volunteered to handle many PG and UG courses to gain a comprehensive picture of the concepts. I have also taken initiatives to expand my skills in the academic and administrative activities being the NBA coordinator for 8 years, BoS and BoE member, faculty advisor to name a few. I have successfully implemented ICT tools in my teaching and have adopted cooperative learning and blended learning into teaching. I am frequently invited to deliver technical talks and hands-on sessions on current advances in Electrical Engg. and ICT enabled teaching during Faculty Development Programs at various colleges. Being an active member of IEEE, I have served many roles in various chapters of IEEE, like student councillor of IEEE PES-RVCE chapter, execom memner, treasurer and vice-chair of IEEE PELS Bangalore chapter, etc.. As an active researcher in the field of renewable energy, I have contributed significantly through several articles in renowned journals and various conferences, which have been cited widely.
