Brief summary of the Programme: Department of Civil Engineering organized a guest lecture on 9th May 2024 at Auditorium-2 PJ Block, BMSCE from 2:00-3:30 pm. Mr. Vineeth Gupta, Program Director-GATE, IMS Learning Resources Pvt. Ltd. Has delivered a lecture on “PSU Job Opportunities”. During the lecture, the speaker has provided insights into the importance of GATE exam. Various options for higher studies and PSU job opportunities open through GATE are discussed elaborately. The speaker also shared the tips for GATE preparation. At the end the students were also given the opportunity to participate in the National Engineering Challenge-Round 1 test. Parinith B.L, Likhit N and Mohit H.S have been emerged as the top performers and have qualified for the Round-2. Outcomes The program helped to create awareness about the GATE exam and how to prepare for the same.
