Research Interests: VLSI , System design, Low power VLSI design , Signal processing, QCA, AI and ML.
About
Dr. Veena M.B received her Ph.D. in VLSI Signal processing from Visvesvaraya Technological University in 2013, and M.E., and B.E., in Electronics & communication engineering from Bangalore and Mysore universities respectively. She has Thirty years of teaching experience and has taught wide range of courses in different domains of Electronics & Communication Engineering. She has published several technical papers in peer reviewed International/National Journals, and also presented papers in many conferences. She is also a reviewer for International Journals/ Conferences and reviewed DST-SERB grants.
Guided several UG and PG projects, has six research scholars working under her supervision in the area of VLSI, Signal processing, AI & ML and Wireless communication and she is also a registered research supervisor at CPRI, Bangalore. Three students under her guidance have been awarded Ph. D.degree .She has filed three Patents and are published and one patent Granted.
She worked as Principal Investigator for funded project of 5.35 Lakhs and Presently working as Chief Investigator on funded project of Rs70Lakhs from Meity: Chip to startup programme for the project titled “Ground penetrating Radar with Reconfigurable Capability applicable to sustainable Industrial & Agricultural purposes" .She has also completed few Consultancy work.
She is Fellow of IEI, Life member of ISTE , Senior member of IEEE and Member of IETE.
