About

Dr. VEENA M.B. received her Ph.D. in VLSI Signal processing from Visvesvaraya Technological University in 2013, and M.E., and B.E., in Electronics & communication engineering from Bangalore and Mysore universities respectively. She has Thirty years of teaching experience and has taught wide range of courses in different domains of Electronics & Communication Engineering. She has published 100+ technical papers in peer reviewed International Journals and conferences. She has filed five Patents and are published and two patents Granted .She is a reviewer for few Elsevier and Springer published journals and IEEE Conferences and also reviewed DST-SERB grants.
Guided several UG and PG projects, has seven research scholars working under her supervision in the area of Digital system Design, Low power VLSI, Signal processing, AI & ML and she is also a registered research supervisor at CPRI, Bangalore. Three students under her guidance have been awarded Ph.D Degree.

Presently working as Chief Investigator for funded project of Rs 66.65 Lakhs from Meity: Chip to startup programme for the project titled “Ground penetrating Radar with Reconfigurable Capability applicable to sustainable Industrial & Agricultural purposes" . She worked as Principal Investigator for funded project of 5.35 Lakhs and she has also completed few Consultancy work.
She is Fellow of IEI, Life member of ISTE, Senior member of IEEE and Member of IETE.
