About

Dr C R Ramakrishnaiah is currently a Professor in PG (Env.Engg) programme in the Department of Civil Engineering. He obtained Ph.D degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University(VTU) in 2010. He has supervised two Ph.D. students, two M.Sc. (Engg.) by research candidates, and 77 M.Tech. candidates. He has total 79 papers to his credit with a total citations of 2222 as on March 2026. One of his research papers has been cited 1598 times and one more research paper has been cited 389 times. He is contributing to the scientific field by working as a peer-reviewer for several international scientific journals. He established an Advanced Environmental Engineering laboratory utilizing TEQIP-II(Govt. of India, World Bank assisted project) fund for PG(Env.Engg) and research programmes in 2014. He has conducted GIAN (MHRD, Govt. of India sponsored) course on Integrated Water Resources Management(IWRM) inviting speaker from Canada. He served as Director, B.M.S. Center of Engineering Consultancy (BMSCEC) for three years from 2019 to 2022. Worked as Environment Management Framework (EMF) Coordinator in TEQIP III(World Bank Program) and as Chairperson-Differently Abled Service Cell(DASC) from Oct 2018 to Oct 2025. He is working as PG(Env.Engg) Coordinator from 2007, Management Representative (MR) for ISO 14001 - Environmental Management System(EMS) implementation and certification from March 2023 and as Chairperson-Maintenance of EMS from September 2024.
