About

Dr. Gururaj is working as an Associate Professor in Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, BMSCE. He has been with BMSCE since 2009. He has Published a Patent titled 'A System for Voice based Interactive Bot for Reservations and Bookings' with the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trademarks, Govt. of India. He has published papers in refereed journals and is also actively participating towards improving the OBE environment through effective TLP. He has also always been one of the highest rated teachers in the department. He has published more than 70 papers in reputed journals/book chapters/conferences with a h-index of 10 (As of June 2024) for the same. He is a Senior IEEE member, Life member of ISTE, IEI and IAENG professional bodies. He has been awarded with the Best Researcher award and Best Teacher award from IEEE Bangalore section that encompasses entire Karnataka. He has guided students towards KSCST grants for 2020-21 and 2021-22. The students have also won international recognitions and accolades under his guideship.
