Smitha V Shenoy is an Associate Professor of Finance and Analytics at BMS College of Engineering Bangalore. She has Post-Graduate teaching Experience of 20 years in Finance and Analytics. Her research interests include Behavioural Finance, Quantitative Finance, Social Inclusion and Social Stock Exchange, Business Process Management (BPM) in Financial Services, Initial Public Offers, Portfolio Management and Financial Planning, Project Finance, Venture Capital Funding, Alternative Investment Funds, Data Analytics and Econometrics, Data Science and Machine Learning. She has presented research papers in several National and International Conferences and Journals. She has also attended FDPs from premier institutes which include training on Data Mining and Analytics from Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore, FDP on Advanced Econometrics from IIM Kozhikode, Summer School in Empirical Finance and Accounting Research from IIM Calcutta and Data Science and Machine Learning from IIT Gandhinagar. She has Industry consultancy assignments and Funded projects from ICSSR and GIAN-MHRD to her credit.
