About
Prior to being associated with BMSCE Dr. Prathima Bhat was teaching at Acharya B-School. She has completed Masters in Business Administration from Justice KS Hedge Institute of Management. She has secured a university rank for her PG. She has graduated from Mangalore University with Bachelors in Business Administration. Her doctoral research was in the area of Microfinance, examining the role of financial leadership and information strategies deployed by MFIs in Karnataka. She has a keen interest in continuing research in the area of Microfinance, especially the changing social role of women and their empowerment.
Prathima Bhat is a dynamic and energetic person by nature. She takes a keen interest in standardizing processes and establishing protocols. She has been closely associated with the college Cultural fest UTSAV for many years and is always enthusiastic about organizing it. As an International Hostel Warden, ensuring the girl student’s security has always been her most priority. She was the Treasurer for the University Youth fest, 'Prathibhotsava', conducted in BMSCE. She always invests in building relationships with the students as well as the parents.
