About

Dr. Ambika P R is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Machine Learning at B.M.S. College of Engineering (BMSCE), Bengaluru. She holds a B.E. and M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering, with research specialization in Machine Learning for Healthcare Applications, from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. With over 15 years of experience, her expertise spans teaching, research, academic administration, and institutional development.
Her scholarly contributions include 20+ journal publications, 15+ national and international conference papers, three published books, and two patents. She has actively contributed to student innovation and research and has supervised four KSCST-funded projects.
Her academic and institutional contributions include serving as an IEEE Student Branch Counsellor and initiating and establishing the IIT Bombay Virtual Lab, promoting experiential and technology-enabled learning among students. Dr. Ambika is a professional member of IEEE, ISTE, and IAENG and is committed to advancing the frontiers of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and AI-driven Healthcare Applications through research, innovation, and academic excellence.
