Prof. Swaroop B.M. serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at B.M.S. College of Engineering (BMSCE), Bengaluru, India. He laid the foundation for his technical expertise with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from VTU Belagavi, subsequently advancing his studies internationally to earn a Master’s Degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Texas at Arlington, USA, where he was honored with a Silver Star Scholarship for outstanding academic merit. His professional profile is distinguished by a dedicated triad of research, innovation, and pedagogy. Prof. Swaroop possesses a strong passion for pushing the boundaries of technology through in-depth research and exploration, complemented by a committed drive to impart knowledge and shape future professionals in the field through his dynamic teaching methodology.

1) Presently engaged in executing a ₹5,50,000/- AI product development consultancy work for Qval Consulting Startup Firm. Project Broad Area: Using LLM's and RAG for predicting Root Cause Analysis of a Batch Rejection during manufacturing of Medicines.
Role: Co-Project Lead along with Dr. N Sandeep Varma (Dept of Machine Learning) and Dr. Hadagali Ashoka (Dept. of Biotechnology).
R&D Projects
1) Presently engaged in executing a Research Project valued at $3000 (₹2,79,064/-) under Intern Program Wing sanctioned by Optimly AI, Inc., Seattle, Washington, USA that focuses on AI Brand Directory with Data Model Engineering along with LLM Brand Intelligence.
Role: Principal Investigator along with Co - Principal Investigator: Dr. N Sandeep Varma
