Dr. Mamatha M N
Dean (First Year B.E.), B.M.S.C.E
Dr. Mamatha M N is currently the Dean (First Year B.E.) at B.M.S. College of Engineering. She has a total experience of 27 years in academia, both in the domains of teaching and administration. She has served as the HoD of the Department and currently as Professor of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering at BMSCE.
Dr. Mamatha M N has published many research papers in journals/conferences of national and international repute. She is the recipient of the Indian patent titled “Transparent photodiode based 7-segment display digit recognition and transmission”. She has also received grants and funding for her research from ERASMUS, the European Union Program in the fields of education, training, youth and sports.
She has been invited as the Keynote speaker for the International Conference on Music Therapy, held at Brasov, Romania, Europe. She delivered a talk on the topic “Data Acquisition using sensors and Traditional healing practices and music therapies - An Indian perspective”. Dr. Mamatha M N is recipient of many awards and recognitions for her work and research from organizations of national and international repute such as IUCEE & IFERP.
Dynamic, hardworking, and result-oriented being her defining attributes, she is currently working towards creating a conducive learning environment for the first-year students at BMSCE, in her capacity as Dean (First Year B.E.).
