About

Dr.Seemanthini K obtained her B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from P.E.S. College of Engineering, Mandya , in 2008, her M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore, in 2014, and her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering(Computer Vision) from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, in 2020. She has over 16 years of teaching experience and 8 years of research experience. Previously, she worked at Dayananda Sagar Institutions and YDIT, Bangalore. She joined the B.M.S. College of Engineering in October 2021 as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in the Department of Machine Learning in August 2024.
Dr. Seemanthini K has published over 25 research papers in international conferences and journals. She has completed three DST-funded projects and has served as the Convener of the Institution Innovation Council at the Ministry of Education Cell, AICTE. Additionally, she is a Certified Innovation Ambassador Trainer at the Institutional Innovation Council, Ministry of Education, AICTE.
Dr. Seemanthini K has delivered talks on Artificial Intelligence, Probabilistic Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Patenting at reputed institutions. She has also executed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with esteemed organizations and has organized Faculty Development Programs, National Level Project Competitions, and various workshops. She has served as a technical committee member and session chair at international and national conferences. She is working as BOS and BOE member of reputed institutions.
