Sof Department Electronics and Communication Engineeringand Mr. Puneeth Nandakumar VII Sem Civil Engineering, have received a prestigious “EKALAVYA” award for the year 2017, 2018 &2019 from Govt. of Karnataka for their sports achievements in International competitions inSnooker and Swimming respectively.

- Received National award - Best Sportsperson with disability from Honorable President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind on 3rd December, 2021.
- 2 Gold, 1 Silver & 3 Bronze medals in IWAS World Games 2019 at Sharjah in February 2019
- 4th Place in 200mts Individual Medley at INDONESIA 2018 Asian PARA Games Jakarta in October 2018
- 10th Place in IDM Swimming Berlin from at Berlin in June 2018
- 5 Gold medals in XVII National Paralympic Swimming Championship held at Maharana Pratap Khel Gaon Swimming Pool, Udaipur in November 2017
- 3 Gold medals in State Para Swimming Meet 2017 held at DYES, Bellary

Dr.M.Shivarama Reddy – Director, Physical Education of B.M.S.C.E was nominated as Coach for Indian Universities Swimming Team (M&W) participated in 30th World Summer Universiade 2019 held at Napoli, ITALY from 3rd to 14th July 2019.
