3/1 NCC Coy at BMS College of Engineering was inaugurated on 18-08-2015 by Col. M C Aiyappa, then Group Commander, NCC Gp. HG Bengaluru ‘A’ in the presence of Maj. Ruchi Dewan, Offg. Officer Commanding, 1 Karnataka Signal Regiment NCC and Dr. B. S. Ragini Narayan, Donor Trustee and Member Secretary, BMSET. It has the sanctioned strength of 80 Cadets. It comes under 1 Karnataka Signal Regiment NCC of NCC Gp. HG Bengaluru ‘A’. Since inception 3/1 NCC coy is engaged in grooming the young engineers into disciplined and patriotic citizens and motivating them to take up career in Indian Armed Forces.
