Abstract: Securing yourself in today’s digital world is becoming so much more important now. A single mouse click could lead to salary debit or to your banking credentials being stolen. Cyber-attacks are constantly evolving and the only cure to be secure is you! This webinar deals with the threat landscape today, different kinds of cyber-attacks, current trends in cybersecurity, and what we as individuals can do to secure ourselves in this digital world.
Speaker profile : Sneha Shekar is part of the Umbrella Research India team. She is a Cisco Security Ninja Black belt. She is one of the few women security researchers from Asia and one of the youngest too. Sneha comes with a strong python background and is actively involved in building prototypes that aid in decoding malware and threat hunting. She was instrumental in building a machine learning classifier for hunting threats in the wild. Sneha works actively on decoding malware and was instrumental in solving the very complex malware called .scr malware. Sneha has delivered talks in SecCon Village and also faculty development program in New horizon College, Bangalore. She has conducted workshops at universities like BITS Pilani, RVCE and KL University, Vijayawada.
