AICTE Invites all students and faculty to observe 30th August to 4th September as YuWaah Echoes – by Young Warrior filled with knowledge sessions, talks, presentations, competitions and challenges.

This is in continuation with AICTE’s communication on Young Warrior Movement on 1st June 2021, and its subsequent launch for AICTE affiliated institutions on 12 July, 2021.

AICTE has partnered with UNICEF- YuWaah and 1350+ other collation partners and launched the Young Warrior movement for AICTE affiliated institutions on 12th August, 2021. The Young Warrior movement enables young people to take action against COVID-19 and cumulatively impact the lives of millions of people within their families and communities. Since May 2021, more than 6.6 million actions have been taken by young people under the Young Warrior movement.

To involve students of AICTE affiliated institutions in a meaningful and engaging way, for actions against COVID 19, AICTE invites all institutions to observe 30th September 2021 to 4th Sep 2021 as YuWaah Echoes – by Young Warrior filled with knowledge sessions, talks, presentations, competitions and challenges.

This is as an opportunity by individual institutions to engage students to take part in a unique learning and experiential journey around COVID 19, by expressing, innovating, learning, changemaking and building resilience. Students who complete one or more of the below mentioned activities will earn a certificate from UNICEF. All the winners of the above challenges will be recognized by UNICEF on a national platform.

Students start by taking a pledge to ensure that they will observe and amplify COVID-appropriate behaviours. After the pledge, they will have an opportunity to engage in the following:

• Solve-A-thon: An innovation challenge for the Youth on COVID 19
• Artists Unite: Hybrid space for youth to self-expression through art
• COVID Academy: Attend knowledge building sessions around COVID 19
• Quiz Masters: A multilevel quiz on COVID 19

AICTE encourage all institutions to promote and inform about YuWaah Echoes – by Young Warrior to all students along with banners and social media posts over website and social pages, indicative creative is attached below.

Statutory information: Students and Faculty are strictly advised to follow COVID appropriate behavior at all times while engaging with any activity or task under this initiative. All activities, including pledging, will be performed at the safety of your homes.
