About

He has obtained his PhD from International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore in 2019, Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Kansas in 2008 and Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Visvesvaraya Technological University in 2004. He has been working as Assistant Professor at BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore since 2009. Prior to joining BMS College he had been working as a Software Engineer at WIPRO Technologies and also at AirMagnet California, USA.
His research interests are in the area of audio and speech signal processing and Machine Learning. He also has completed Post Graduate Certification in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the University of Purdue. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and his research articles have been published in various reputed journals and conferences. He has received special awards from NPTEL for consistenly being among the top performers in various NPTEL courses. He is also actively involved in the cultural and literary club at the department and the college along with being associated with technical clubs like the Drone club and the Student Satellite Project of BMSCE to name a few.
