About

Prerana was born in Delhi, India. She received her B.Tech. degree in 2003 in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, India. She received her Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2008. She worked as Assistant Professor with Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, India from 2009 to 2011, and is working as Associate Professor at BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore, India since 2013. Her research interests include signal processing and PHY layer design for wireless communications. She has published multiple research papers till date - in reputed international journals by Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, as well as in refereed conferences. She has supervised one Ph.D. and multiple PG/UG level dissertations.
